Quiz and team building people will remember.

A team-building quiz game in Budapest, for company events and gatherings of friends and family.

TeamQuest is a complete game: it takes knowledge, logic and dexterity. Teams solve puzzles, follow clues and hunt for objects.

We bring everything, you just enjoy it.

How a game works

No lectures, no compulsory role-play. The tasks are easy to understand, but the competition is real.

  1. Teams form, the game master introduces the gameWe split the group into teams of 3–5. A few minutes later, everyone knows the rules.
  2. A warm-up roundAn easy opening round, usually trivia questions, to get everyone going.
  3. More rounds followThis is where the game really begins. The puzzles lead into one another: a solution is a place, a code or an object that takes you to the next task. Along the way, teams collect rewards toward the shared goal.
  4. ResultsWe add up the points from all rounds and the winning team is revealed.

How is it different from a regular quiz?

You don't sit at a table answering questions; you play together.

  • Knowledge isn't everything. Some are good at logic, some at finding their way, and some help with manual skills. Everyone has a role.
  • Movement and discovery.Teams explore the space, search for objects, open locks and crack codes.
  • Tasks that build on each other. One solution is the key to the next task, and the game moves toward a shared goal.
  • Real props.Locks, boxes, code boards, cut-out figures: you play with objects instead of just reading questions.
  • Shared stakes, real competition.Teams collect points round by round, and at the end we find out who is best.
  • Top view: combination-lock boxes, dice, a coin, a pen and a puzzle sheet with code charts

What to expect in the rounds

  • Music, films, pictures
  • Logic and maths puzzles
  • Opening combination locks
  • Cracking secret codes
  • Mazes, anagrams
  • Object hunt in the room
  • Map detective work
  • Cutting out and assembling
  • A small board game with the game master

Tasks may build on each other. In some, the correctness of the answer matters; in others, speed.

Who is behind TeamQuest?

I've been running quiz games since 2017, first for groups of friends, then at corporate events too, with groups of 10–50 people. TeamQuest grew out of this: I want to offer a game that teams genuinely enjoy playing and that organisers can confidently entrust their event to.
